Bora Bora Residency Centre launches an open call for artistic ideas with a strong choreographic base, to be researched and/or developed in the season of 2020-21 (August 2020 to June 2021).
Open call for the season 2020-2021
Professional dancers, choreographers, dance companies or stage directors with a strong choreographic idea are invited to apply for a residency at Bora Bora (Aarhus, Denmark) in the season 2020-21.
Residencies includes fees for up to four participating artists, paid transportation and accommodation, as well as a mentor, in addition to general technical assistance and production assistance.
All Bora Bora residencies will take place at either Bora Bora or one of the project’s international partners and Danish co-hosts that counts both theaters, folk high schools and other performing arts organizations. (Read more about its partners and associates here>>)
In addition to the annual open call, which is open internationally, the Bora Bora Residency Centre is also a partner in the Nordic Residency Exchange Program, where five major performing arts houses in the northern Europe, collaborate to exchange artists once a year.
The application period starts on January 6th. Deadline for submitting applications will be January 31st 2020 at 16:00 Danish time.

Support for Danish and Danish-based artists
Aside from the international residencies, Danish and/or Danish-based artists can also apply for one of the international or Nordic exchange residencies in collaboration with the partners of Bora Bora Residency Centre.
