We are excited to announce that Perform Europe will continue. The same Consortium that successfully delivered the programme's first two editions has been entrusted by the European Union to lead the programme for the 2026-2028 cycle.

The Perform Europe Consortium – IETM, European Festivals Association (EFA), Circostrada, European Dance Development Network (EDN), Pearle* Live Performance Europe and IDEA Consult – wishes to thank the European Union for the trust and support. This renewed mandate reaffirms our shared commitment to making international touring more inclusive, diverse and green, while creating new opportunities for artistic exchange and collaboration across Europe and beyond.

About the upcoming Open Call

As part of this new chapter, Perform Europe will launch its third open call very soon The call will support the cross-border touring of performing arts works, with a focus on two key priorities:

• inclusion and diversity,
• fight against climate change.

Performing arts professionals and organisations based in Creative Europe countries active in theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts and puppetry are welcome to apply. Each application must bring together at least three partners from three Creative Europe countries to tour artistic work(s) across borders. The selected projects will be able to tour their works between 1 March 2027 and 31 January 2028.

Perform Europe’s €1.4 million fund will support at least 25 successful partnerships. Of the total fund, 5% is reserved for projects involving Ukrainian partners or supporting the Ukrainian performing arts sector.
